Well, 2023 was quite a year!
So, I’d like to take a moment to look back and reflect on where we’ve been… and ponder how can I make the world a better, healthier place in which to live.
Every year, as we head into January, I like to ask myself these same questions:
1.) Was I the best person I could be with my friends and family?
2.) Was I the best person I could be with my patients?
3.) Was I the best person I could be with work and other humans I encounter daily?
Now, the answer to those questions isn’t always a resounding “yes.”
But that’s okay… because none of us are perfect. So, I then ask myself one more key question:
What could I have done differently in each of those situations?
I hope you will join me this year in this exercise. I think many of your New Year’s resolutions could come from how you answer these simple, yet insightful questions.
And here’s one more thing to remember as 2023 comes to a close…
I want YOU to know how grateful I am to have you in my life. You, dear reader, are my inspiration, and I thank you for that!
I hope you have enjoyed this journey with me, and let’s both look forward to many more years together.
