Makes 1 cup
- 1/3 cup tahini
- 3 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- generous pinch red pepper flakes
- 1/3 cup water
- coarse sea salt and freshly ground black pepper
- In a medium bowl, stir together the tahini, lemon juice, garlic, and red pepper flakes.
- Whisk in the water until you have a smooth, blended sauce.
- Season generously with salt and black pepper.
Note: Try this over a lamb dish or any steamed vegetable to give the dish a more exotic flair.
