Any stuffing mix can be easily converted to Gluten free
Using gluten free bread, gluten free broth and spices.
Try This Basic Recipe:
6 cups of gluten free bread toasted and cubed or
6 cups gluten free cubed stuffing mix
3 onions diced
2 celery stalks diced
2 carrots diced
6 tablespoons of butter, or olive oil or mac nut oil
2 tsp dried sage
2 tsp dried thyme
2 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
½ cup white wine
1 cup gluten free chicken broth
4 tablespoons parsley
Saute onions, celery and carrots in butter or oil until
Vegetables are soft and onions begin to carmelize. Add
Spices, and wine. Cook over medium heat until liquid is
Reduced by half.
In a large bowel, mix sautéed vegetables, bread cubes,
Chicken broth and parsley. Transfer to a baking dish. Bake
At 325 for 20-30 mins.
Variations can included adding cooked giblets , or
Sausage (gluten Free) nuts, and or cranberries.
