Should you get the COVID-19 vaccine?

Here are my thoughts…

While general thoughts and opinions about vaccination can vary widely among health professionals and the public, I do believe it is a critical step in moving beyond this pandemic successfully. And thankfully, according to the data collected so far, the potential side effects from the COVID vaccine seem to be mild and short-lived.

So my recommendation? Unless you have a known allergy to any of the vaccine ingredients OR have experienced severe allergic reactions from vaccinations before: Get vaccinated when you are able to do so. And, as always, consult with your healthcare provider with any questions or concerns.

As for booster shots? Well, here’s the latest guidance.

Just remember, vaccines should be treated like any other medical procedure. Meaning proper preparation can make all the difference. Learn more here.

And to answer one more burning question that I’m hearing from a lot of peopleWill you have to wear a mask even after you’ve been vaccinated against COVID-19? YES—here’s why.
