The ROOT cause of brain disease—EXPOSED!

We’re facing a tidal wave of age-related brain diseases: Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, ALS, multiple sclerosis, and more.

And despite all the “breakthroughs” Big Pharma promises, we still don’t have meaningful solutions. Just expensive treatments that rarely make a dent.

But now, conventional medicine might finally be pulling its head out of the sand—by acknowledging something I’ve been preaching for years…

If you want to protect your brain, you have to start with your gut.

The gut-brain axis is real—and powerful

Your gut is often referred to as your “second brain”—and that’s not just poetic language.

Your gut and brain are in constant communication via what scientists call the gut-brain axis. This connection plays a critical role in everything from mood and memory to inflammation and immune function.

So, is it really any surprise that science now suggests imbalances in your gut microbiome may trigger—or worsen—neurodegenerative diseases?

In other words, those age-related diseases may not start in the brain at all. Instead, they may begin in the gut, where inflammation, leaky gut syndrome, and a lack of healthy bacteria disrupt the body’s delicate immune balance.

In fact, new research shows that patients with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and Parkinson’s share similar immune cell communication patterns. And that’s no coincidence.

After all, we are what we eat… right?

Heal the gut, protect the brain

Your gut is the largest immune organ in your body. If you don’t nourish it, your body won’t function properly. And your health will suffer.

A healthy gut microbiome is diverse and resilient—with many types of beneficial bacteria living in harmony. That’s your first line of defense against brain-damaging inflammation.

(Learn more in my book, Boost Your Health with Bacteria—one of the first to explore how the gut microbiome impacts health.)

Unfortunately, modern life and the Standard American Diet are a disaster for gut health.

Processed foods, artificial sweeteners, pesticides, plastic packaging, antibiotics, and stress—all of it devastates your microbiome. Add in our sedentary lifestyles and the diabesity epidemic, and we’re creating the perfect storm for neurodegeneration.

The odds are stacked against us. But you can take action, starting TODAY:

  • Eat whole foods—and cook more meals at home. Choose grass-fed and -finished meat, organic poultry, seasonal produce, and healthy fats from eggs, avocados, nuts, and seeds. And don’t forget probiotic-rich foods, like yogurt, sauerkraut, and kimchi.
  • Get daily movement. Aim to move your body for at least 20 minutes daily.
  • Prioritize sleep. Try to achieve seven to nine hours of quality shuteye each night.
  • Provide extra support to your gut. Choose a high-quality gut supplement that contains all three “biotics”—prebiotics, probiotics, and postbiotics. I like Dr. Ohhira’s. (Learn more about the importance of these “biotics” in the January 2024 issue of my monthly Logical Health Alternatives Click here now!)

Just know that the longer you wait to make changes, the more the potential damage accumulates—and when it comes to cognitive decline, the harder it becomes to undo.
