Ingredients:
1 Turkey (12-14 lbs.) at room temp.
4 onions, chopped
4 carrots, chopped
4 cups organic chicken broth
6 Tbs. butter, soften
2 Tbs. Mac Nut Oil
4 Tbs. minced sage and thyme
1 Tbs. garlic salt
Directions:
Heat oven to 425 F. Remove giblets from turkey. Place turkey on Rack set in pan over onions and carrots. Add 4 cups of broth. In bowl, mix next 3 ingredients and 2 tsp. pepper; rub under and over skin. Cover turkey. Roast 30 minutes. Reduce oven to 350 F Roast 2 ½ hrs. or until 170 F, uncovering during last 20 minutes to brown. Let sit 20 mins. Remove vegatables. Carve and serve.
