If it’s that risky…

This bit of news has me shaking my head in disbelief…

A group called The National Council on Patient Information and Education (NCPIE) has launched a major effort to promote the safe use of acetaminophen. You know it better as Tylenol. It’s also an ingredient in some 600 prescription and over-the-counter medications.

And yet, it’s so dangerous, there’s a whole movement to educate people on the risks of taking acetaminophen!

This NCPIE group has compiled THREE modules to educate people about acetaminophen. And how to use it safely. Because if you take too much in one day, that causes liver damage.

Well, I say that’s a whole lot of education pointed in the wrong direction.

When does the bell go off in someone’s head? When do they realize it’s time to quit promoting the stuff? Time to quit using it?

I haven’t taken acetaminophen in about 20 years. I’ve got a handful of natural alternatives that give me pain relief when I need it. I’ve learned to avoid foods that trigger inflammation. And stock up on those that keep the body’s pH in balance–which helps prevent flares.

You’ll read all about it in the June issue of my newsletter, Logical Health Alternatives.
