My predictions about diabetes confirmed

I’ve been warning my patients and readers about it for years, but this week, my predictions about diabetes were confirmed by a report from the International Diabetes Federation (IDF). And their findings were so startling, they made headlines all over the world:

“Global surge predicted for diabetes”
“World braced for explosion in deaths from diabetes”
“Diabetes cases to skyrocket worldwide: study”

And if the headlines sound bad, wait until you hear the details of the story…

Within the next 20 years, the number of people with diabetes will go from 366 million to a staggering 552 million. That works out to three new cases every 10 seconds.

And perhaps the most frightening part of all is that, right now, 183 million people have no idea that they have this potentially deadly disease.

The IDF called for “urgent action” to stop this runaway train. But, so far, the only ones who seem to be taking that recommendation to heart are the drug companies. According to one article I read, “global drugmakers–including Sanofi, Eli Lilly and Novo Nordisk–aim to introduce new classes of drugs that could further extend treatment options.” And no wonder. Sales of diabetes medicines totaled $35 billion last year alone. Just imagine the sort of cash they’ll be raking in if there are almost 200 million more people to profit from.

And while Big Pharma is looking at this news with dollar signs in their eyes, the people responsible for bringing it to our attention are basically rolling over and playing dead.

Jean Claude Mbanya, the president of the IDF, said “In every country and in every community worldwide, we are losing the battle against this cruel and deadly disease.”

But it doesn’t have to be that way!

Unlike so many of the epidemics that have wreaked havoc on the world over the years, diabetes is completely preventablewithout drugs. Many of the articles that covered this story even admit that fact. But none of them offered any REAL help for doing it. It was all the same old, tired “diet and exercise” line that the “experts” have been doling out for decades, which has gotten us nowhere fast.

What the global health authorities don’t seem to understand is that if we’re truly going to beat diabetes, people need specific, step-by-step advice.

Unfortunately, it will likely be too late before they ever figure that out. But the good news is, it won’t be too late for you. I’ve made it my mission to see to it that  none of my patients or readers become a part of the mind-boggling statistic you read above. When you’ve got the right resources, stopping this deadly epidemic can actually be very simple. And I’ll continue to give you the exact steps you need to take to make sure it doesn’t happen to you–here in my Reality Health Check, and in even more detail in my monthly Logical Health Alternatives print newsletter.

There’s simply no reason to let diabetes destroy your health or your future.
