Are these chemicals KILLING us?

Not every national public health agency has the best interests of giant corporations at heart, like what we experience here in the U.S.

In fact, the French agency—known as Santé Publique France (SPF)—recently released the findings of their PEPS’PE study, which launched in 2021…

And looked at the detrimental effects of endocrine disrupting chemicals on human health.

Here are some key takeaways…

Linked to 59 health effects

I’ve been reporting on how endocrine disruptors (ED) have insidiously creeped into our lives for a while now.

That’s why I was excited to see that the French have decided to actively monitor the impact of these chemicals—and their link to disease.

The study identified a potential link between the chemicals and 59 potential health effects!

After evaluating the health effects based on the weight of evidence and epidemiological and societal impact, 21 have been made a priority for active surveillance.

And let me tell you, those health impacts are quite startling (and creepy).

Let’s take a closer look…

Ruthless and eye-opening

Researchers have identified six reproductive health effects to continue monitoring: cryptorchidism (or an undescended testicle—the most common congenital defect affecting male genitalia), hypospadias (where the opening of the urethra is not located at the tip of the penis), early puberty, testicular cancer, alteration of sperm quality, and endometriosis.

They will also start monitoring infertility and decreased fertility.

(Isn’t that incredible? Our environment is creating birth defects in large enough numbers to quantify… at a time when infertility is at the highest it’s ever been in history. Coincidence? I’ll let you decide.)

Furthermore, these chemicals have metabolic effects, too—encompassing everything from weight issues and diabetes, to cardiovascular diseases, child neurodevelopmental disorders, and asthma.

And let’s not overlook the fact that cancers, like breast, prostate, lymphomas, and leukemias, have also been highlighted.

Folks, these are the most common health effects of our time. And now, finally, research proves it’s very likely they share a common ground: chemicals.

I just hope that one day, our U.S. agencies will try to protect the health of the people over the health of corporation’s bottom lines.

P.S. I often recommend a traditional detox one-to-two times a year. In fact, traditional detoxes and cleanses have been used for thousands of years as a safe and effective way to let the body rest and repair itself against things like endocrine disrupting chemicals.
