Common food additive TRIGGERS disease?

In a quest to figure out why we’re sicker than ever before

Why more younger people are getting cancer

And much more

Many studies are finally turning to what’s in our food supply.

Today’s spotlight?

Carboxymethylcellulose (CMC), a common food additive.

It’s all connected

CMC is frequently used as a thickener and emulsifier in foods to help improve texture and extend shelf life.

Sounds delicious, right?!

And now, research suggests it could trigger chronic inflammation, a root cause of disease.

It all seems to boil down to gut health.

(How about that—three of my favorite things to talk to you about: your gut, chronic inflammation, and hideous food additives.)

In fact, preliminary findings from this small, double-blind, randomized controlled trial show that CMC disrupts the gut microbiome in a way that actually promotes chronic inflammation.

I’ll spare you the scientific details—but researchers found pro-inflammatory markers and linked them to changes in the microflora after consuming CMC.

Toxic cycle threatens our lifespan

Folks, I have to ask…

What took researchers so long to realize that these food additives—which are unavoidable parts of modern living—may be killing us?

These “preliminary” findings are quite clear… and we must act fast.

I mean, most of America has chosen to sacrifice health for convenience. But these convenience foods are chemically altered to leave us craving more, making them virtually impossible to resist. (Learn more by clicking here.)

As a result, colorectal cancer, for one, is rapidly growing in the 40-year-old crowd. (And so on, and so forth.)

I get it—it’s not easy being healthy in this toxic world… a world that’s set up to make profits for Big Food and Big Pharma without a care as to what happens to average citizens.

(It’s the relentless decrease in our lifespans that keeps these companies racking up profits for their shareholders!)

But when it comes down to it, I would rather be healthy for as long as possible than opt to eat these chemically altered, highly addictive “foods.”

Because the truth is, CMC isn’t even the worst of the food additives in our food supply—and look at what it has the ability to do!

That’s why I’ll always shop the perimeter of a grocery store and the local farm stand for grass-fed and -finished meat, wild-caught fish and seafood, nuts and seeds, and organic produce—and I encourage each and every one of you to do the same.
