The truth behind allergic reactions

Are your allergies worsening with each passing year?

Or perhaps you’ve never suffered an allergic reaction before… and now, they hit you like a ton of bricks.

Either way, you’re in good company.

It’s estimated that 30 to 40 percent of the worldwide population suffers from allergies—and those numbers are expected to grow.

Let’s take a look…

A runaway train

I have flushed out many thoughts behind this current “allergy crisis” in my book The Allergy and Asthma Cure.

One theory blames our current obsession with being too clean. As a result, we often stray—and keep our children away—from dirty environments… and dirt, in general.

But that keeps us from being exposed to the bacterial diversity our body NEEDS to be healthy. So, when we eventually come into contact with those microorganisms, our body freaks out in the form of an allergic reaction.

Another theory looks at our diet. As you know, the Standard American Diet (SAD) is chockful of processed foods (and less fiber) that alter our gut’s environment. This makes it more difficult to absorb nutrients from the food we eat, which ultimately takes a toll on our immune system.

Plus, the rise in environmental toxins might lessen our skin’s ability to ward off potential allergens from entering our bodies.

Put it all together, and of course we’re seeing more allergic reactions.

I mean, our lifestyles have changed more in the last 100 years than in a millennium. Almost everything we do is different—from how we cook and what we eat, to how often we bathe, and what we clean our homes with.

But, you CAN help stop this runaway train…

An internal cleanse

While plenty of allergic reactions aren’t deadly, they WILL impact your quality of life, mentally and physically. For example, they can interfere with good, quality sleep, keep you from going out and engaging with your peers, and much, much more.

But I don’t recommend reaching for that pill bottle. Instead, you must address the root cause of the problem…

When most people think about allergies, they focus on the environmental factors that trigger their symptoms—pollens, animal dander, dust, and more. But that’s only HALF of a much bigger picture…

You have to cleanse your internal environment, first.

Because when your internal environment is tidy, the external factors that fuel your allergies simply won’t trigger the same reactions.

In other words, you need a complete gut microbiome makeover.

That starts with following a healthy, balanced diet that feeds your friendly flora. Here are three simple-yet-critical steps:

  • Avoid sugar
  • Fill up on lean protein, healthy fats, a little seasonal fruit, and plenty of fiber-rich veggies
  • Eat prebiotic-rich foods to nourish your gut’s probiotics

Of course, I really break down some diet secrets, along with a multi-tiered supplement protocol for lasting allergy relief, in the September 2017 issue of my monthly newsletter, Logical Health Alternatives (“Allergy-proof your body—from the inside out”).
