Patients purposefully DENIED this medication? [MUST-READ]

What you’re about to read is one of the main reasons why our healthcare system is such a failure…

Because when it comes to easy access to the medications that actually help people…

The powers-that-be basically ensure you’ll be caught in an extra sticky WEB…

Showcasing their profits-over-people mentality.

Hijacked from the top, down

I’ve talked about semaglutide here before. But in case you need a refresher, it’s a drug, marketed under names like Wegovy and Ozempic, approved for Type 2 diabetes.

But it’s also being used for weight loss… and, quite successfully, at that.

See now, this is what really boils my blood…

We finally have a class of medications؅—GLP-1 agonists—that successfully help patients lose weight. And that simple effect could change the trajectory of health and wellness in this country.

We could be free of the comorbidities of carrying extra pounds, like hypertension, high blood sugar, and who knows what else. (The surface of what these drugs can help do has only just been scratched.)

But since these drugs are super expensive, guess who’s fighting back?

Employers.

Yep, the people who are responsible for paying for the drugs.

Instead of embracing the concept of a long-term solution to bringing healthcare costs way DOWN, the higher ups are choosing to create a sticky web full of obstacles and roadblocks…

Denying YOU the very medication that could help turn your health around.

The hypocrisy abounds

This is what insurance companies have been doing for ages—they’d rather pay their CEO tens of millions of dollars instead of sharing the wealth with patients who need it.

Just think about it…

When was the last time you were prescribed something or had a test ordered, like a CT scan or a simple 25-hydroxy vitamin D test, only for it to be denied by your insurance?

This is no different.

Except now, corporate America is actually hiring virtual healthcare providers, consultants, pharmacy benefit managers (the biggest crooks in the industry, in my opinion), and analysts to implement weight-loss programs for their employees.

My biggest question here: What took you so long to do that!? The hypocrisy is mind-boggling, folks!

Tell me: Are you as fired up as I am?!

If so, tune back in tomorrow, where we’ll continue this conversation.
